When I click on an email in the message list that is either at the top or middle or somewhere else, then, I minimize eM Client and come back to it later (not right away), it scrolls down to that message and I have to always keep scrolling back up to see the newer messages.
When you highlight an email and then minimize the program, it will then “normally still be highlighted on the same email when you reopen the client” from the taskbar or dockbar. So to then see any new emails since minimised, you would normally then need to scroll up to the top of the Inbox, unless you have a eg: very large display resolution and don’t get many new emails a day.
That’s allways been the case with any mail client I’ve used. There is nothing built into eM Client that I’m aware of to automatically scroll to the top of the Inbox after minimising and reopening. However if there is, then someone will update this thread.
The only time the client goes automatically to the top of the Inbox or All Inboxes is “when you completely close and reopen the mail client”.
However there is a shortcut key you can use to automatically get you back to the top of the Inbox if you are highlighted on an email further down. See @Gary post below from the following thread.
