Screwed By The "FREE" Download!

I own version 7. I wanted to try version 9. I download the FREE version. It then over rights my version 7! Then it won’t let me try it as it says my license is expired!! This is the FREE version! There is no license!

Now I can’t uninstall 9 as the install overwrote 7.

How do I get rid of 9 and get 7 back?
