I know eM Client has ability to do backup under Menu>Backup and also do automatic backups under Settings>General>Backups. These are useful for restoring on to a new eM Client installation on a new device without going through the entire Account setup process (I think I came across a post in this forum outlining the steps on how to backup and restore in eM Client)
I would like to know on PC:
How to move emails (all or selected) to “Local folders” in eM Client.
How can I save or backup the “Local Folders” only from eM Client to a chosen location
How to save all emails on eM Client to any desired location in any or chosen format that can be opened in any or popular Email programs (e.g. on Outlook) with attachments.
How to move emails (all or selected) to “Local folders” in eM Client
Just either “drag” messages to Local Folders, or use the “copy” or “move” options via the Menu along the top or the Buttons on the toolbar.

You can either “Export any messages” to .eml files via the Menu along the top to wherever you like.
You can also Create a folder anywhere you like outside of eM Client eg: on your desktop or documents etc and then drag messages directly to that folder. The messages will also then be in .eml format which can then be read / opened in any other mail client or later dragged back into eM Client Acct folders or Local folders later.
Can you show this - how emails residing on desktop or locations elsewhere can be brought back in to eM Client Acct folders or local folders…Screenshot example would be helpful.
Example dragging an email from All Inboxes in eM Client to my Mac desktop folder.
Create a folder on your desktop called eg: eM Client Messages, and just drag “any emails” or “a group of emails” etc into that folder. You can drag messages from any mail account folders or local folders.
They then become .eml files which then can be dragged back “into any eM Client mail account folders” or “local folders” later.
