Seems to work ok for me personally. So could be you possibly need an update.
What version of eM Client are you using ?
Also do you have Windows or Mac ?

I have been away from eM client for some time, but in the past, this was an essential feature. I have just now updated and paid after using the free version for a couple of years.

Ok there was a vertical eg: Apple Printing bug which was fixed in a later update that might also be why thats happening for you when also saving .pdf and .eml files.
So close eM Client and then d/l the latest Mac v10.4.4293 from the release history page and install that and see if that fixes it.
Failing that, close eM Client and go to Applications in Finder and “drag eM Client to the recycle bin” and then “reinstall v10.4.4293 again” incase its just an installation problem.
