Running windows 10 and emclient not default

Cant right click files to send via email. Tried default settings using emclient. Also removed outlook profile but when right clicking file an error comes up saying please set up outlook profile. Any ideas.

Give this a shot…

  1. Go to Windows Settings/System/Default Apps.
  2. Make sure eM Client is the default email app.
  3. At the bottom of that page, click on “Set defaults by App”
  4. Click on eM Client.
  5. Click “Manage”
  6. Click each of 1st 5 items and choose eM Client (not sure what the last 2 are for so I just left it alone)

This worked for me, Windows 10 current version, eM Client 8.1.1060

I did that yesterday, rebooted, completely removed oulook profile and no luck.

Okay now it works. Thank you for the screen shot. When I went into general settings the application was not set as default even though I did this from apps menu. Thanks again!
