rules

I tried to apply rules but it does not work - I am using the beta version and using Windows Vista Home Edition. Is there some simple instructions on site to use please.

Hi,
you need to create the rule first through menu Tools->Rules. Then apply it to some folder either directly from the Rules dialog window or by right-click and choosing Apply Rule option. Doesn’ t it work for you?

The rules work when manually run but after the same working rule does not filter on new emails that I do not manually run the rule…
Please advise solution.

We have the same problem. Rules do not work when automatically run, but work when run manually. Screen shots of error message and one of the rules definitions are attached.

Rules are not working automatically in Em Client 4.0.1, George, do you have any solution? Only works manually… I have 2 IMAP accounts, maybe they work automatically only for POP3 accounts ?
