Rules for Junk and or spam mail

I have had some email addresses from 2000, and currently my desktop client harvests from 3 (down from 4); One of the features I love with the client.

But with the age of the accounts, and the number, I get somewhere between 500 to 800 new emails a day (and I am rarely on social media). The client does a fair job of catching mail I have tagged as junk. But just like junk phone calls (where the caller either spoofs a non-existent phone number, or just uses a different number each time to defeat robo caller blocks), the junk mail senders change sending credentials each time.

Writing a rule (or having settings in the inbuilt junk/spam rule) to help us catch these is needed. A typical subject line can look like

Unfortunately, one cannot enter special characters into a rule (or not a set of spaces and dashes) as in

And while we are here, a keyboard shortcut to mark as spam/junk (really one for all 3 sub-options of blocking mail) so that one cal scroll down the inbox, select one or more emails, and with 2 keystrokes mark it. As it is now, one either scrolls down with the arrow keys, then grab the mouse and click “Mark”, then click “Move to junk” then click on the desired sub-option.
I cannot find any documented keyboard shortcuts (and they are typically shown by windows when one clicks a dropdown menu) for these actions.

And while that is not part of this NFR (new feature request), adding keyboard shortcuts for all dropdown menu items (including sub menus) would cut down on the device switching effort.

Thanks !!!
