Rule for JUNK/SPAM Email

For a month or so, have been receiving 10 to 12 junk emails. Each is from a “.gmail” address, with the sender being unique. There seems to be nothing in common in all the emails.

Is there a way to create a rule to delete these emails before they hit my inbox.

I do have one friend with a gmail address. Any rule about the gmail address must exempt my friend’s gmail address.
Thanks… Steve

What i would suggest first as they are all from Gmail address’s, “if they are going to your own Gmail account in eM Client”, then login to your Gmail address online via webmail, and “mark / report them as spam” in your Gmail Inbox as per the following Google Support page - Report spam in Gmail - Computer - Gmail Help . Google will then deal with them. Sometimes that can take a little while before they go away being the amount of Gmail users, but eventually Google do block them from my own experience when thats happened before.

Now “if you don’t have a Gmail address” then suggest to go to the following Google “Report abuse from a Gmail account” page and submit the spammers Gmail address’s and example header information etc on what spam you are getting - Report abuse from a Gmail account - Gmail Help . Google will then investigate those Gmail users spamming.

Apart from that “you can create rules in eM Client” via “Menu / Rules” (Pc) or “Menu / Tools / Rules” (Mac) to block senders via “email address, subject or body”, and also block via “words found in the header” if that is always identical or similiar via the header source when you right click in the body of the senders email at the bottom of the dropdown menu that appears. See eM Client Rules documentation page on how to setup rules to block what you want.
