Routine error when sending attachments

I have a problem that is both intermittent and varied. I receive a failure to connect to SMPT error that only occurs when sending an email with attachments. emClient will spend anywhere from 1-4 minutes “sending” and then I will receive the connection error. Diagnostic says all is well.   The constant is that it only occurs when sending an email with attachment (usually 2 mb or larger) and generally at times of day when bandwidth is limited.  For example, yesterday evening I spent about an hour sending with failed attempts sending a 2 mb email with constant errors.  Early this morning I sent 5 mb test message that went through immediately. Unfortunately, I did not copy the log.  Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ron

Hi Ron, what version of eM Client are you currently using and what mail service are you using?
Can you please make a screenshot of the error, also when it occurs, please switch to the “Log” tab and copy the content of the log, there should be an error message visible in the log.

Thank you,
Paul.

Paul,
Thanks for the fast reply. I just replicated with about 10 MB of attachments.  The email went through on the second attempt.

My email service is Yahoo and I and using version 6.0.21034.0.

Thanks, for your help.

Hi again Ron, I’m afraid this is a Yahoo issue as you noted the message was sent on your second attempt…
The log also states that the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, this means eM Client had to close the connection because the Yahoo server wasn’t “answering”.

Thank you,
Paul.
