Had to reinstall windows and eMClient/ My Hotmail.com account has all of the folders, but no content. I get an error message ‘root element is missing’.
How can I fix this?

What protocol are you using for this account? POP3/IMAP? Please try adding the account manually again in Menu > Tools > Accounts > Add > More and fill in the settings that can be found on your email provider’s support webpage.
