root element is missing

Had to reinstall windows and eMClient/  My account has all of the folders, but no content.  I get an error message ‘root element is missing’.

How can I fix this?

What protocol are you using for this account? POP3/IMAP? Please try adding the account manually again in Menu > Tools > Accounts > Add > More and fill in the settings that can be found on your email provider’s support webpage.


Since my first post I’ve been fiddling about and it now seems to be OK.  Thanks for the reply but this is now closed.
