Rogers / Yahoo POP 3 email continues not to work with EM5

when I use port 110 with SSL if available and use the diagnostics Fix feature it claims to have fixed the problem, and it will then check mail and say that everything is normal, but will not download messages from the server, which I can still see when logging in via browser

when I use port 995 with SSL if available and use the diagnostics Fix feature it says Fixing failed

HOWEVER, when i access another of my Rogers / Yahoo accounts with Windows Live Mail client, it downloads just fine, so there must be something different about EM5

i do not want to abandon EM5 because it used to work fine, but this has been going on for over a week and a half now and if i don’t get an answer soon…

Hi, I will need your POP3 logs, go to Tools - settings - advanced, check POP3 under your account, apply and restart eM Client.

then click on send and receive and if it will continue to fail then in advanced window click on send logs… and send them to my email [email protected] with this topic’s url in subject.
Then you can turn logging off
