Return to list after deleting email in Android app

When I delete an email in the Android app, the next one is shown immediately. I want to go back to the list instead. Am I missing a setting? I believe this used to work before.

I’ve already seen another question where someone wants exactly the opposite behavior.

Android App - Go to Next Message after deleting

Received several emails today about installing the Android App for eM Client. Longtime user of the desktop version. However, when deleting an email it takes you back to the message list instead of the next unread message. There doesn’t seem to be a way to fix this in the settings as there is in most other email apps. This is no good, and a deal breaker for me.

Isn’t there an option to configure this so each user can choose how it works?

Yes in the latest Android Beta V10.3.2269, go to “Menu / Settings / Mail / Read” and enable “Close message details after deleting the message” as per the example Android screenshot below.
