In Japanese input methods, Return/Enter key is used to confirm character input. Therefore, to enter something into a text box and submit it, we must press Return key twice.
This is not a problem in most text boxes, but it causes issues in windows where Return key is used for confirmation, such as the contact creation window.
The following link explains: Your Form Submits Mid-Japanese Input | A static site to link people to when their web form submits upon the user confirming their Japanese input.
This occurs at least in macOS Tahoe 26.1 and is extremely inconvenient for Japanese input users, and likely the same for Chinese as well.
This issue no longer occurs, and it may be thanks to the eM Client update. Thank you.
