Retrieving S/MIME certs from AD

Hi,

we are a company searching for an alternative to Outlook on Mac (M365), and eM Client looks promising. We’re using S/MIME for all our internal emails, and Outlook is able to pull a recipient’s X.509 certificate directly from Active Directory without the need to import it before sending the encrypted message. Is there a way in eM Client to do that?

We have the same issue here, eM Client app for Android does not look up the recipient’s certificate in the Exchange GAL/Entra.
