OS crashed, have new machine and old eM client directories from old machine witn 2016 era eM Client on separate hard disk…how do I move old folders over to new machine since data structure has changed…

You have to install the older version from: https://www.emclient.com/release-history, open the old version’s database and then update to the new version from the version’s list. It will transform all your data to the new database structure.
