Resolved: Run eMClient with dedicated profile from command-line

Hi,
I use multiple profiles with my eM Client. Currently, I start eM Client with the profile manager active. In future, I would like to have a desktop icon for each profile. However, I can’t get the command line to work.
According to my research, “C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe” /database
should start the profile manager, and “C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe” /dbdir “%AppData%\eM Client Profile\Business1” should start the “Business1” profile directly.

I haven’t been able to find any documentation on the command-line parameters. Has anyone managed to do this?

Cheers, SleiderDE

Hey @SleiderDE

Here are two links that you can try.

Hi skybat,

thanks! That’s what I was looking for

Btw. /dblocation opens eMClient with the profile dashboard.

Thanks again, SleiderDE
