Is it possible to reset the eM Client user name and Password? Can the password be shown in the box when typing so you know whether you have made a mistake? Could save many hrs of mucking around
If the account is setup with a username and password, you will be able to do this in Menu > Accounts, then in the General tab for that account. For security reasons we do not display the actual password. That prevents someone who gains access to your database from seeing your passwords.
If the account is setup with oAuth, there is no username and password stored in eM Client, so nothing to change.
I got the same problem. So how do I gain access to my password ?
Ok. But I have this problem though, transfering my password to new computer when I dont know the password. Understand that I can transfer it to a mobile device, but from there ?
