Request out of office email feature

I have a number of accounts that are standard and not gmail.

I would like to be able to have a auto reply sent when an email is sent to these boxes.

Cant work out why its not already there?

Seems a basic feature?

I thought it might be client based somewhere, but if its exchange based, I’m stuck as it for non gmail servers.

ho hum.

It is server based because it is a reply that will be sent to any messages you receive while your computer is shutdown and you are away.
