Reply in Thread issue

Hi,

I received a mail from a person A, and forwarded it to a person B. I now have 2 mails that I show in one thread.

When I click the thread (not one of the two mails but on the thread), an reply, the reply to address is the one of person B. I would expect replying to Person A, no?

Hey@Cashels

I can’t follow what you are doing with A, B, & Thread.
So for me, when you forward A to B the recipient is B
So if you then reply to B the reply to will be B
If you want to reply to A use the original email

Or maybe I am missing something!

Hi Skybat,

maybe I express myself a little bit unclear.

As a thread I mean in fact a conversation. It looks like that

on WE, 08:06 I sent a message to A, and got a reply at 09:07. I forward the message to B.

Now, when I select the conversation topic (the blue row), and reply to the message, the receipient is B, not A as I would expect.

Not a great issue, of course I could select the concrete message and reply directly to that instead of replying to the conversation group. But I would expect replying to A and not B in that case.

No normally if you select a conversation thread and reply, “it will reply to message B” or the last message in that conversation / thread.

If you want to reply to message A, you would “click the arrow on the far right of Message A” to then reply to that specific message.

Yes, of course I simply can select the specific message in the conversation to have full control on who I reply. But it’s simple not logical to me, if I simply reply directly to the conversation, the mail goes to the last message in the conversation. But it’s ok, once I know it now. It was just confusing, and I nearly sent a message to a wrong person.
