Removing Unwanted Contacts

I have just updated my Em Client to v10 free version. I now have a lot of unwanted - out of date contacts in folder called “Other Contacts” in my account. I can live without the folder as the contacts I use are all in the Contacts & All Contacts folders.

If I try to remove the contacts individually, EMC tells me that the file is read-only.
I do have EMC on my Google Pixel 7 Pro too, I have a feeling that the 2 programs are synced which is causing the problem, but I cannot find out how to un-sync the phone & my Win 11 PC.

Can anybody show or tell me how to un-sync the phone and the PC copies of Em Client so that I can edit my contacts list, or better still, how to delete or remove the “Other Contacts” from my account.

Yes, the folder is read-only so you can’t delete its contents in eM Client.

But you can open the Google Contacts web page, go to the Other Contacts folder, and delete them there.
