Reinstallation problem

I have reinstalled eM Client after changing my hard disk. All significant info (emails, calendar, contacts) have vanished.

  • Where would they be on the old hard disk
    OR
  • Is there a way to try and find out if they lurk somewhere on my new hard disk?

Hi Lucien…

This assumes that the old installation of eMC is the same version as the installation
on your new disk (e.g. v8)

If you have your old disk INTACT you should refit it to your computer, run eMC,
create a backup, save the backup to a USB stick.

Refit the new disk run eMC and restore/import the backup from the USB
If you do this correctly you will be up and running.
