Regular expression ^people/[^/]+$ error

Hi.
Every time I check my emails, I am getting the attached error.
Please Help.

That error regular expression ^people/[^/]+$ error usually means your eM Client Gmail contacts have got out of sync with the Gmail online contacts and you need to run the repair.

Go to eM Client Contacts section, and then “Right click” on “Contacts” directly under your Gmail account and click “Properties” at the bottom. Then click the “Repair” tab at the top, and finally click “Repair”. The repair can take a little while as it clears the local cache in eM Client.

Also I see in your screenshot it also mentions your Gmail Other contacts. Those contacts a usually read only in eM Client so you carn’t edit or delete them etc if you want to.

So what I suggest to do with those Gmail Other contacts “after running the repair”, is to close eM Client and then “go online to your Google Contacts” and drag them from “Other Contacts” to your main Google “Contacts”.

Then reopen eM Client which will then sync those other contacts all in your Gmail main contacts.

Thank you for your help.

I did the repairs and it seems ok.
But I now have 40 contacts in “other contacts” !!
I closed EM and went to gmail as you advised but gmail shows zero contacts!!
I wish to delete those as most are old and changed.
Where can i find them?

Open your web browser and go to the following webpage. https://contacts.google.com/

Then press the “menu on the left” & you can select Other contacts and delete any you don’t want.
