Very often my regular/desired emails go to spam. When I teach that it is NOT spam, it doesn’t remember and the next email goes to spam again. Marking them as not junk or not spam does not do anything. How to fix?
Marking them as not junk or not spam does not do anything.
If you are marking them as “not spam in your server mailbox webmail end” and they are still sometimes automatically moving to your spam / junk mail in eM Client, dblcheck that you definitely have “no rules or blacklist setup” in eM Client that could be automatically moving them.
Next if you carnt see any rules or blacklist entries in eM Client causing it, then I suggest next to troubleshoot in eM Client is to eg: disable all rules and the blacklist temporarily via “Menu / Rules” and then see if the emails stay in your Inbox. If you have V10, the Blacklist is in "Menu / Settings / Blacklist” where you can also check there and disable / delete entries to test as well.
Now if disabling rules and blacklists for a test in eM Client makes no difference, then it could be “something in the header, subject or body of the sender email” that is changing randomly to much so then marking emails as “not spam online” is not working well enough to keep them in the Inbox. Some online mail server filtering is better than others depending on the type of technology.
So to test if it’s a mailbox online issue with an automatic or manual online filter, close eM Client and then see if those emails stay in your Inbox online. You will then know if it’s a mailbox issue.
