Red triangle won't go away; can't download to primary eM Client PC installation Earthlink

I installed a second copy of eM Client on my iPad 10 days ago. I used the iPad installation while away from home for a week (7/5-7/12).

I use my primary copy on a Dell PC, with plenty of RAM and disk space, and most recent installation of Windows 11. My email comes from Earthlink.

Beginning about 4 p.m. yesterday a red triangle began appearing opposite my email account name in my primary (PC) eM Client client. I have tried everything I can think of or can understand from various suggested solutions to clear the triangle, to no avail. I am hoping someone out there will provide a solution. (Oddly, the version on my iPad also shows a red triangle, but that version successfully downloads emails from the Earthlink server.)

Following is the most recent Operations Log entry, recorded at 4:41:41 pm today (eight minutes ago):

What are your POP or IMAP and SMTP Server settings ? Go to “Menu / Accounts” and click your Earthlink account on the left and then click the POP, or IMAP tab and SMTP tabs and update the “server address, port and security policy” as could be an incorrect incoming mail setting.

POP
Host = imap.earthlink.net
Port = 143

SMTP
Host = smtpauth.earthlink.net
Port = 587

Yesterday I deleted the account on my PC and then re-installed it. So far it works properly. If it continues to work for a few more days I plan to mark this problem solved.
