No more comments to the headline necessary. Upright rectangle pictures, which are dragged and dropped into the mail body, appear crosswise rectangle streched.
No purpose identifiable. Senseless.

I tried with 4032x630 jpg and am not able to reproduce that.
Maybe just a few, as your subject is a bit vague.
Can you please give the following information:
What version of eM Client are you using? If it is not the latest available, can you upgrade from the Release History and see if there is any difference.
Where are you dragging the image from? Is it Explorer or from another application?
What are the dimensions of the jpg?
What are your compose message image settings?
