Random Deactivation

For the past 2 weeks, EM Client has randomly deactivated on one of my computers. I have (3) licenses, each used on one of (3) computers. Everything works fine on all computers except that one of them get’s deactivated once a week for the past 2 weeks. Reactivating it works without an issue, but this is starting to get annoying. On the system with the issue, I have (2) user accounts, one for personal and one for work, both of which I run EM Client. The system is an brand new build that I finished reinstalling several weeks ago after trying to diagnose a freezing/crashing issue that was ultimately caused by bad RAM. Please advise. Thanks.

You do not say, is the licence Free or Pro?
If Free the deactivation is because there is business use.
If Pro I guess there is some sort of system glitch in which case contact
sales@emclient,com who should be able to correct the issue.

I had a look at your licenses.

One is for 2 devices (beginning 7d4a) and one is for 1 device (beginning 1755).

I see that you have been switching between both licenses on one particular device. Rather don’t do that as it will deactivate the other device that was using the license before.

Activate only 2 devices with the license beginning 7d4a, and activate the remaining one using the license beginning 1755.

If you still have issues after that, send us an email on [email protected] and we will investigate further.

I have all Pro licenses with lifetime upgrades.

As for the switching, I’m not sure what you’re referring to. The license for (2) devices is installed on my desktop computer and on my laptop. The 3rd license is installed on my HTPC. I have not switched the licenses (I was careful to label the license keys in a text file with the respective computer they’ve been used on). The desktop license screen shows (2) licenses as does the laptop license screen. The HTPC license screen shows (1) license. These are all consistent with my license text file. All licenses are active and working other than the desktop license deactivating.

The licenses were purchased late last year (December, I believe) and I only reinstalled EM Client once due to my computer issues (I wasn’t able to deactivate the installation before reinstalling the system). However, I was able to reinstall and apply the licenses as they were before the rebuild and there was no issue for the first 2 weeks after the rebuild.

I will send an email to the licensing department if it happens again.
