Quickly delete all emails after seen under a contact

I have a quick question. When I select an email from an inbox and I have the the contact window pane open on the right, all the emails from that email’s contact appear. This is great, especially for dealing with old emails or newsletter subcriptions. However, I can select all emails, but I don’t seem to be able to delete them. Is this possible?

Attached an image to explain, in case it helps.

I’m on Windows and after selecting all the messages from that sender I press Delete on the keyboard and all the selected messages are deleted. If you are on Windows what happens when you press Delete?

Thank you!
I’m using a Mac and command+delete does the same job.

Super helpful.

Thanks,
S
