Quick Books

Has anyone been successful using em Client with Quick Books??

Hi Don, could you please comment on what do you have in mind by using eM client with QuickBooks? As far as I know that is an accounting software, what exactly would you like to achieve using these two applications?

Thank you,
Paul.

I apologize. I was not very clear in my question. In Quick Books you are able to email reports to a given customer or vendor. After installing em Client, we found that Quick Books would not activate the em Client interface when we try to email. Outlook used to be our primary email client. Now that em Client is our default client, Quick Books will not allow us to email from their product. I was wondering if anyone had encountered this in the past.

Hi Don, are you able to send email through other applications using eM Client as your default mail handler?
If you’re this might not be an issue of the application. But please check if you have both .NET framework version 2 and 4 installations present on your computer. (If you have .NET 3 installed, .NET 2 installation is included), but you need to have both of these versions installed on your computer in order to let this feature work properly…in some cases.

Hope this helps,
Paul.

I am having the same issues. NET 4 is installed, still not working. Did you figure this out DON? I am runnon QB premier v22

Hi Ray, make sure if you have the latest available version of .NET (4.5.2) installed on your computer, and check if you’re able to send data using MAPI from windows, right click any of your files and select Send to > Mail recipient.

Thank you,
Paul.
