Wondering if any of the new V10.3 “shortcut keys” should be working on the eM Client mobile iOS iPad Beta app V10.3.2242 with external Bluetooth iOS keyboards like the Logi Pebble 2 ?
I am aware as @Michal_Burger advised in another thread, that the “up and down arrows keys are not yet supported in the Subject” on eM Client iPad mobile Beta app with B/T external keyboards, but don’t’ know if the new V10.3 shortcut keys should be working yet or not ?
None of those new shortcut keys work for me currently on an iPad M1 Air with 18.5. Are they also yet to be implemented on the mobile app ?
Useful one-key shortcuts V10.3
These shortcuts make it easier to quickly perform specific actions with your keyboard only:
M for Quick Move, just press the shortcut and start typing the name of the folder to move your message to!
C for Quick Copy to quickly copy items the same way
T for Quick Tag to assign a tag - just start typing the name of the tag and press enter to assign it
Ctrl + T to remove all tags from a message
R to quickly mark message as Read or Unread
G for Quick Switch to navigate to a specific folder
F to move to the Next message in the message list
B to move to the Previous message in the message list
N to move to the Next unread message in the message list
P to move to the Previous unread message in the message list
Hello, in the last update we’ve added an elementary suport for external keyboards (arrow keys, backspace for deleting messages) and currently we are working on mirroring our quite robust shortcut system from the desktop to the mobile. It should be available pretty soon.
Using V10.3.4032 Ive re-tested my two Logitech “Logi” Pebble Keys 1&2” version B/T external keyboards and the up and down arrow keys are not working yet if you eg: click on a subject and try to go up and down through the subjects. Should the up and down arrows keys be working in this version ?
The up and down arrow keys “do work in Mac Mail ok” on the iPads on the Subjects going uo and down,
Also the Backspace key to delete messages is also not working, but “is working in Mac Mail ok” on iPads. ?
Hi Michal,
thanks for the quick reply, with the latest update it’s a big progress for me.
I hope you have also CMD+N for new Mail or Calendar Entry (depending in which module you are currently) on your Roadmap.
Kind regards and have a nice day
Stephan
We are currently focused on the mouse, keyboard and shortcuts improvements for the mobile app. It is one of our biggest priorities now, but it is quite a complex thing. You’ll see the results of our effort in a few weeks.
