QQ Mail not working with eM Client

I am trying to add my QQ account to eM.

I start with ‘New account’ then entering by QQ Email and clicking ‘Start Now’. After entering my password I click ‘Continue’. I know for sure that the password is correct.

Finally, I click ‘Next’ and ‘Finish’

Then comes the problem. I keep getting error messages saying ‘xxxxxx@qq.com: Connecting to xxxxxx@qq.com failed.’

I am getting message for IMAP and SMTP saying ‘An attempt to connect to xxxxxx@qq.com failed. This could be caused by temporary server unavailability or incorrect settings. Do you want to check settings’

I have been trying for days now and get the same message. I know for sure that my email address and password is correct.

Can anyone help?

sorry for the late reaction, can you try adding eM Client to exceptions in your Firewall and anti-virus software? Sounds like the communication to your mail server is being blocked by another application.
Let me know if this helps and if not, we can try troubleshooting the actual settings.
