PST Files import

Hello:

My faithful HP Pavilion 6 of 15 years bit it. Moving to a Windows 10 PC. Would like to not support Microsoft’s takeover of the world and starting by trying your eM Client. Downloaded free version and I am restoring my .pst archive file. When I finished, none of the file heirarchy has shown up, nor contacts, calendar, or tasks. Does it take time for these to appear? Should I restart PC?

Thank you.

what Outlook version do you have?
In my case, with an OL 2003, I was able to get (partially) the folder structure from outlook and all emails, except… they are all empty! :frowning:
The calendar and contacts were imported correctly (as far as I could see).

In the meantime, I discovered that the emails were (mostly) present and imported, still have issues with some of them truncated.

Hi @horia

We had a similar problem converting from .PST (Outlook) & .MSG (Eudora) both to .EML
We were able to convert 10’s of Thousands of emails etc with no loss.
It worked perfectly for us.
They have a free trial, we used it to carry out a batch trial.

Have a look here for full details:

¡Saludos desde la soleada España!
¡Mis mejores deseos y mantente a salvo!

@skybat
thank you for your kind and fast reply! I will check the Aid4Mail software.
I was hoping that I do not need an intermediary for importing, but this is good to know.

I also used some years ago the MailStoreHome, which, as I remember, also correctly imported and stored Outlook formatted emails.
