Problems with sending outgoing mail

emClient suddenly leaves all OUTGOING mail remain in the OUTBOX without sending them. Any idea?

Are you getting any error messages? Have you changed any of your settings recently?

I suspect it may be related to the account I am using with the domain @email.com . It may have been blacklisted as of lately - not sure. Sending from an alternate account works fine. I will check with the ISP if they have blocked this particular domain.

Gmail doesn’t allow you to send or receive executable files (Google also scans RAR files and blocks them). You can get around the security check by changing the extension of the file so it will not be scanned by Gmail. Simply rename the .rar file to .ra.

This is NOT solve the problem and your answer is not enough.

I want to STOP outgoing messages manually in eMClient (and I not want to send it again).

How I can do this?? Where is outbox folder, where is button or just possibility to stop sending process of all still-not-sended mails?

If Outbox folder (or similar option) is not exist, you must make them in next versions, because the problem is Terrible - eMclient is cycling every 4-5 hours from 5 days!
I`m consider to reinstall it… and all my settings will be gone. :frowning:

Outbox folder is in Global folders. Open Tools - Settings - General and check the option “Show Global folders”. Afterwards, you can move the problematic message to another folder or delete it.

When I understand, all still non-sended mails is waiting in Outbox folder. And when I delete them, eMclient will not send nothing anymore?

But what you think about to make button on the upper taskbar, named “Outbox”? This button can be placed right from “Send and Receive” button and will provide VERY useful option to work easily with this very good email client.
I will be glad, if you consider this proposal with our colleagues.

Man I have paid for this thing and ever since I did, I’ve been having problems. I’ll tell you what there is no Global folder in the settings what so ever. And I am not able to receive nor send emails at all…

So please any other sollution?

I switched to a different excellent freeware software - Mozilla Thunderbird, and now I HAVE NOT any problems, such as discussed here. There is no problems like “cannot send message”. And attention - there is no pay, it is a freeware.

Well I am thinking about getting my money back as well. I bought it for my company after the very good trial period has ended. Will I ever be able to get my money back? I am not happy at all
I now know that their Global Folders are not called Global… and you can find the outgoing mail in local folders… but I am still having to fix the connection to the servers in order to get my mail.
I wish I hadn’t purchase this product as I am starting to be super pis*ed with this. I am losing my time fixing stuff I shouldn’t be even aware of. right… :slight_smile:

In the version 5 the Global folders are now called Smart folders - you can enable them in Tools -.Settings - General - Show Smart folders.

Are you getting any error messages? If so, can you please post it here? It would help us to analyze the problem.

Please post here the error message - it would tell us more. Also when you have the PRO license, you can use our VIP support - I am sure they will help you to fix the problem in the shortest possible time.

I went to my geeky friends and they fixed it for now.
I am running 2 gmail email addresses (different companies) and this EM client keeps changing the port numbers. So everytime I get an error message I have to go and manually set the original port. It works for a while then I have to switch it again.

My other problems are:

  1. when I have a new message in one of my subfolders and read it it doesn’t appear as read in “all mail” folder. Bothers me.
  2. all drafts are being saved in “trash folder” after I send it. Bothers me
  3. When in any folder I cannot sort my mail by “unread” I am one of those people who are bothered by unread mail.

I will definitely keep you posted on my issues.

Try to re-create the account using the correct ports - it should help.

  1. It is not possible at the moment but we are working on it.
  2. What do you suggest? How it should work?

Are you using free version? maybe the demo is expired, and thats why
