I’m using emClient calendar with Synology calender package. I have big problems with reccuring events with reminders. After a while, there are tousendas of reminders at one event. I tried to get the calender via CALDAV (GET command) and there are at several events a lot of VALARM entries.
The biggest issue with CalDAV is that the same url has different results in each application. What works with Thunderbird Lightning, does not work with eM Client, and what works with Android, doesn’t work with desktop clients. And they all have different methods of syncing that data.
What I would suggest is that if you have a Pro License, you open a support ticket directly with eM Client. When I had issues with CalDAV, they got together with my provider and found a solution.
Just did some tests:
2 emClients at one calendar. Single event with reminder.
Confirming reminder on first computer -> all ok
Afterwards confirming on second computer->new reminder added (available in web interface of Synology, also visible in debug file of emclient.)

So emClient seems to be the problem. Confirming on more than one computer/device adds a new alarm block. Right?
So after a while, with several instances of emclient the events “explode”

If you have a Pro License, please open a support ticket directly with eM Client as I don’t think anyone on this community forum will/can comment on your log data.
In the mean-time maybe try uninstall eM Client and then download and install 7.2.35595 from the Release History. See if there is any difference with that version.
