Problem with the eM Client Mobile app iOS V10.4.4075 on iPad OS26 if you reply to an email in the conversation & save it as a draft with Gmail account

There is a current problem with the eM Client Mobile app iOS V10.4.4075 on iPad OS26 if you reply to an email in the conversation & save it as a draft Using a Gmail account.

Eg:

If you are using Conversation view on the mobile app (All Views) “and reply to an existing email within a conversation” and (save it as a draft to finish later). The draft reply then shows ok as part of the conversation in the draft folder as normal.

However if you then “reopen the draft” and then finish the email and send the email, “its then no longer part of the conversation” after the email sends, and “shows as a separate email” in the sent folder.

Now “if i don’t save a draft when replying to an email within a conversation” “and send the email straight away”, the email after sending “is part of the conversation” when i look in the sent folder as it should be.

So there is some issue where when replying to an email in a conversation that separates that email reply from the conversation “if you save it as a draft and don’t send it straight away”.

I found why it does it and how to I fix it.

You have to reply to an email in the conversation “only via the three dots on the far right of the message” and not use the reply button at the bottom of the app.

I presumed that when you pressed & opened an email within the conversation and then pressed reply at the bottom of the app, that would work the same as the reply button via the 3 dots on the right of the message, but it doesn’t.
