Problem with imap and gmail

Hello,

I have a problem with EM client. I have the newest update version.
At startup of the program I have the attachment  error. I have only a gmail account.
Mail synchronises well but sometimes EM client show in message lost connection like instability.
I have double check verification enabled on gmail.
I have already tried to remove account from EM client not works.
I have disable kaspersky module for mail : not works.
I don’t have other idea. So please help me.
This error only appear on my new computer.

Check that you have the following settings for your GMail IMAP connection:

Host: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Security policy: Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)

I’ve been having exactly the same problems for months now, and the (very) occasional email from eMClient support have been most unhelpful.

As far as I can tell, there may be some interaction between eMClient and my firewall software, although I can’t trace it; eMC works well with some of my emails (I have sx accounts) but not with gMail or Rogers, and my other email program, Mailbird, works flawlessly with all of them. So it can’t be the machine’s settings clashing with gMail; must be something to do with eMC.  I’ve given up for the time being, although I like eMC and find some of its search facilities and its user interface useful, but oh, those missing emails!
