Problem syncing with my gmail account


I am new to eM. I installed it and it works great with my gmail account. I can read and send messages

The problem is that I get an error message and my “All Mail” folder is not fully sync’ed. The error is:

[IMAP} An attempt to connect to [email protected] failed, … My settings are correct because I can send and read emails.

Here is the exception in the log file:

I answered you in our support ticket system in ticket 3751.

Could you share the solution. I have set up my EM Client with gmail as well (standard settings) but gets an “Operations” window all the time with the above error. I can still see my mails and send, but that window keeps popping up.


I was unable to find ticked with this ID (it was deleted long time ago, but this issue is usually caused by antivirus or firewall software, can I ask you if you can disable it for a while and then try if your issue continues?

Can you tell me what antivirus/firewall software do you use?
