I installed version 7 on one computer and imported my existing Windows Livemail, it worked fine. I’m now trying exactly the same on my second computer, same Hotmail account, it hasn’t worked. All the storage folder transferred across but the Inbox, Sent items, Deleted items etc don’t seem tied to my Hotmail and it hasn’t downloaded any emails into them. There were no error messages during the import. I have no idea how to progress. Any and all help very welcome.
Never mind, I sorted it out thanks. What I had to do was go into Menu>Tools>Accounts and then delete all entries for my Hotmail account from that list. Then on the same window I added the account back in and this time it synchronized it properly.
