Having had a crash had to “reload” eM client. The sidebar on the previous installation showed upcoming events from the calender but this download just highlights E mails from contacts. Can anybody tell me how to get upcoming events back in the sidebar please. Many thanks.

You can display the sidebar in Menu > Tools > Settings > Appearance. In Agenda, after you click on the cogwheel icon, please choose the items that will display.
