Problem adding contact from an email from Smart Folder

When I attempt to add a contact from the Smart inbox by hovering the mouse over the email address and choosing Add Contact nothing happens. If I try the same thing from the individual account’s Inbox it works fine. I’m using a single Google Contacts database for all of my accounts. All of the individual accounts are configured to use the Google Contacts folder. Any ideas how to resolve this?
