Postbox Smart Folders / Same as Search Folders?
Migration from Postbox went smoothly, but none of my smart folders are there. Is there a method to import them? I have over 40 and they are fairly complex. It’d be a nightmare to have to rebuild them.
I also have hundreds of rules… They all show Scope : Removed Account. And the details aren’t in the rulesets. See attached.
I had the same thing with the filters/rules, and I had to manually go through and fix them all. Some were as simple as selecting the right folder and clicking “Finish,” but some I’ve had to go in and basically rebuild.

Suggest to maybe try the latest eM Client V10.1.4417 if you haven’t already, which had an “updated postbox import fix” in the previous V10.1.4411 via the release history page.

After installing, click “Menu / File / Import” and select Postbox and see after importing if that shows your existing Postbox Smart folders and Rules correctly.
If you do try downloading and installing the latest version “close eM Client first” and also “make a manual backup” via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason. You can see when the backup is complete in Show Operations via clicking the drop-down on the right of Refresh.
Lastly if you try the latest version of eM Client and it still doesn’t show any of your existing Postbox Smart Folders or Rules correctly, then could be they will import or show in a later version of eM Client. Might possibly then need another eM Client update. Hopefully the latest version is ok.
