Keep getting loads of messages from porn sites, it goes into Junk but still annoying. How can it be stopped?
If you are getting unwanted emails automatically going to your spam folder, then sounds like your online mailbox auto filtering is detecting it as spam and automatically moving it to the spam folder. Alot of major servers do that. They also normally automatically delete spam in 30days.
So if it’s being automatically moved by your mail server mailbox, then you need to block it “via your website mailbox filtering” before it goes to the spam folder, which then won’t show in eM Client spam folder. If you need help doing that, contact your online mailbox technical support.
However “if it’s not automatically going into your spam folder via your mailbox online auto filtering”, then if you currently have a rule setup in eM Client to automatically delete it instead, it may not be configured correctly & probably needs adjusting so it doesn’t go to the spam folder & just deletes.
You can setup an Inbox rule for unwanted emails in your eM Client Inbox to eg: automatically permanently delete the specific email when it arrives via “Menu / Rules” (Pc) or “Tools / Rules” (Mac). You can setup rules to detect senders emails via info “in the header, subject or body” as per eM Client New Rule documentation.
Lastly if the unwanted emails “are showing in your Inbox online”, some mail servers also allow you to report them as spam via their webmail Inboxes such as Gmail, Outlook etc.
