Please help! How can I simply and quickly move my EMC from an old computer to a new one?

The background is as follows.

  • I have an EMC license for one user;
  • I have installed EMC on an old computer (WIN10) and used the license; set up multiple email accounts and have downloaded a lot of emails to my local computer;
  • Now, I want to move to a new computer (WIN11) to continue using my EMC;

I desire the following.

  • To continue using my EMC license in the new computer without violating EMC regulations;
  • To be able to easily and conveniently migrate multiple email account settings from the old computer to the new computer without having to re-add email accounts one by one;
  • Transferring emails saved in the old computer to the new computer while maintaining my own original email categorization.

I followed the second method in the guide (copying that folder directly from the old computer to the corresponding location on the new computer) to complete the migration.

It couldn’t have been more convenient.

Just 2 results were unexpected for me.

  • The passwords for every email account in my old EMC were automatically migrated over.

  • On the new computer, the first time the EMC run opened the migrated file package, the system prompted me that my license was also automatically activated, without me having to do anything specifically for it.

I’m wondering if any of this is normal?
