I concur. My CEO views her email in the exact same way. She LOATHES Outlook but this functionality is something she simply can’t walk away from. Sadly, emClient isn’t supporting it so she’s turning to Spark… a direct competitor. I wonder how many other companies are having to setup multiple accounts with alternative clients simply due to THIS “feature” or what I call functionality.
It can’t be a huge issue to program. I mean, it does one thing. It keeps an email at the top of this list How hard can it be? I’m a web developer. I can say that.
Nearly 2025 and the most basic and, in my opinion, necessary function is still not available. My question now is do I stay with Outlook or buy into this application. It’s a real deal breaker for sure. What is the problem?
What is the most basic feature is very subjective (this feature is not so common among other applications). Please use your vote on Sleekplan to make that feature request more visible. For every version we make a list of requested features based on the number of users requesting it and prioritize it in our road plan accordingly. It is pretty possible this feature will make it to the next version.
Voted for this feature. It was such a relief when they introduced it in Outlook and Microsoft knows why they introduced it. I just wonder why that feature request is marked as iOS/Android. I would like to see it cross platform.
I think the desktop and mobile client are using the same code base and share similar features, so I suspect if the iOS/Android version had this feature, so would the desktop.
This is a necessity for me. I rely on pinned messages to keep important emails front and center. I need them “in the way” to draw my attention, and not disappear “below the fold.” Without pins or tabbed browsing (with which I could keep an email open without it disappering behind the main window), there appears to no way in eM Client to keep a message visible at all times.
