How can I limit the expiration date (lifespan) of my PGP key?
Now it is set to “Never”.
It is not possible to set an expiration if you use eM Client to create the PGP key, but you can use an online option or app to generate the key and then import it into eM Client.
Be aware though, that having a key that expires can complicate encryption because you will need to distribute a new public key to all your contacts when the key expires and you create a new one. And you will also need to keep the expired keys installed in eM Client so you can read previously sent and received encrypted messages that used the old keys.
