Every time I start up eM Client I get an error message popping up as in the attached screenshot. I am running version 6.0.24144.0.
I can click Ignore All and the window closes, then everything works fine but it is very annoying to have to do this all the time.
Do you by any chance use another device (phone, tablet, other computers) check this account for mail as well? I’m only asking coz some servers don’t like it when accounts get checked from different devices within a certain period of time.
No, not consistently. I occasionally check on my iPhone but not often.

when this error pops up, go to the third tab in the same window titled ‘Log’ and copy it’s contents here, please. The log should include more information about the error, but I think the problem will most likely be on your server.

there seem to be some corrupted email files in Trash and Junk/Spam folders. Could you perhaps try to run eM Client in offline mode (File>Work Offline) and delete these emails (or empty these folders completely) and then restart eM Client and turn off the Offline mode again?
If the issue persists, try accessing your email through webmail and removing these emails directly from the server.

Neither of those worked.
I then switched to offline mode and deleted all messages in those two folders and closed eM client. I went to webmail and deleted all messages in the same folder.
Then closed webmail and re-started eM client. Switched to online and we are back with the same problem (see log below):
