Persistent Calendar Reminders

Since 2-3 days ago, my calendar reminders pop up as expected. However, when dismissed the reminder window closes as expected, but then pops up again. This will keep happening until I close and restart emClient.This happens whether I use “dismiss” or “dismiss all” on the item. I should mention that both calendar items involved were annual, recurring events.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue. Recurring event reminders will not dismiss and continue popping up. I have not tried restarting and will try that, but I hope this gets fixed soon.

I’ve had the same issue. Check if the items you are dismissing are in a calendar owned by someone else. I found this was happening with reminders from my wife’s calendar. As I don’t need to be reminded of them - I show them so I don’t schedule a clash - I set the calendars to not give reminders and that seems to have sorted it.

Calendar is owned by me. I even tried deleting the event from emclient and it came back. I then tried deleting the event from Outlook and it’s now gone. Seems emclient updates are getting overridden when it syncs the calendar, causing the reminders to reset.

Likewise here - calendar is owned by me. Some additional noticed behaviour:

For about a week I would get an error after starting the client - this problematic calendar item fails to upload: “The server returned the following error: Internal Server Error.” Also, on one occasion, I got a pop-up reminder for a different event, and the previously mentioned problematic event reminder would appear below in the same window…and then disappear…and then reappear…ad nauseum.

This is happening to me too. emClient 10.1.4588. Microsoft O365 cloud-based platform for the Calendar in question.
