If you are using a version of eM Client older than 8.2.x, please update to the latest version available in the Release History.
can i use the latest version for free?
If you have a Free License, then you can use any version of eM Client.
If you have a Pro License without Lifetime upgrades, then you will only be able to use the version for which you purchased. So if you have a version 7 Pro License, then no, you can’t use it with version 8. If you have a version 8 Pro License, then yes you can upgrade to any other version 8 release.
