Everytime I receive a PDF attached that’s unlocked it just shows gibberish, no the attached PDF for me to open.
Its like the the attachment is open and changed to text on the body of the msg

also what eM Client version do you use (help - about) and what version of Adobe reader do you use (if not using anything else)?
