password required for pop3 receive server says login failed

I can no longer receive emails without this message coming up. What have I done? I have tried what I thought was the password but it’s not working   Computer dummy here 

You can check that you have the correct port and security policy for your server. Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts and click on the POP3 tab for your account. Without knowing who you use, you can try port 995 with Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy). That generally is the best for POP3, so see if that makes any difference.

I have the same problem. I set my POP and SMTP to recommended settings for my verizon/aol account and stopped receiving my emails. No changes to anything.

I did this and they are set correctly. Still not receiving emails!

Can you disable your anti-virus and firewall and try again?
