Password for attachment or Mail possible?

Hello,

i need to send a password protected Mail, either the attachment has password or the whole Mail has a password. Is it possible in em -Mail? I dont want to use zip programs.

You and the receiver could use a PGP Certificate with a private key to send your email.

thank you, but I guess this is only for PCs I know, it is meant for clients. Is there a solution as well?

The latest eM Client Android and iOS apps “also supports pgp certificate with a private key”. So you could use the mobile app if you want. You setup in the mobile app via “Menu / Settings / Signing & Encryption” and follow the previous post video.

Or if you don’t want to use a mail client on desktop or mobile, then you can just open a browser and “send a simple message” with an attachment and include a password via eg: WeTransfer, but it’s not as secure as an sending with a pgp certificate and private key.
